Cookies 'N Cream Cakes

A popular cake flavor for people of all ages is Cookies 'n Cream! 

This cake was made for a 9-year-old boy whose favorite color is red. It had cookies baked into the vanilla cake layers and cookie crumbs in the frosting!

This cake was made for a 30th birthday party. The layers in this cake not only had cookies baked into them, but there was a whipped ganache filling. It was frosted in a vanilla buttercream and drizzled with more chocolate!

I hope I get the chance to make more cookies 'n cream cakes soon!

I know it has been a month since Independence Day, but I still want to show you the fun cookies I made!

These are cut out sugar cookies that were decorated with royal icing.

I also made a softer sugar cookie with a thick layer of vanilla butter cream frosting, for those who prefer a more traditional frosted sugar cookie.

Both types of cookie were a huge hit!
